Swing Shift

Kick-off your weekend with a bang at our Monthly Swing Social Dance.

🕒 Time: 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

Join us for our monthly social swing event on the 1st Friday of every month at the beautiful Murrayville Community Memorial Hall in Langley, BC. An amazing night of dancing, socializing, meeting new people and having fun! A FREE beginner lesson is offered to kick things off and will include a different combination of moves each time. No partner or dance experience needed! So come have a great night of fun with us.

Cost:
- $10 (Advanced online)
- $15 at the door

Beginner Lesson (7:30 to 8:00PM) is included in the price of your admission!

Structure
- 7:00pm: Doors Open
- 7:30pm-8:00pm: Beginner Swing Lesson
- 8:00pm-10:15pm: Social Dancing the night away

Parking
There is plenty of parking around the venue but if the parking does get filled, there is a free public parking lot near the roundabout between 216th Street and Old Yale Road at Sharon United Church.

Swing Into the New Year: A Night of Music, Dance, and Celebration!

Join us for our annual New Year’s Eve Eve Swing Dance Party. An unforgettable evening of swing dancing, live jazz, and festive fun as we ring in the spirit of the season—a few nights early!

🕒 Time: 7:00pm-11:00pm

What to Expect:

  • Beginner Swing Dance Lesson: Never danced before? No problem! Our beginner-friendly swing dance lesson will have you moving to the rhythm in no time. It's a great way to start the evening and meet new friends on the dance floor.

  • Live Jazz by The Moonliters Big Band: Experience the vibrant sounds of an 18-piece jazz orchestra bringing you classic swing tunes, upbeat rhythms, and toe-tapping melodies.

  • Fun Dance Performances: Enjoy a couple of exciting and entertaining dance performances that will add extra flair and energy to the evening. These lively displays are sure to get you even more excited to hit the floor!

  • Food & Drinks: Enjoy delicious snacks and drinks available throughout the night to keep you fueled for dancing and socializing.

Ticket Information:

  • Early Bird Ticket: $30 (until December 22nd)

  • General Admission: $35 (Deember 23rd-28th)

  • Dance Lesson Included with Admission!
